About the Role
You will lead Rust development efforts, design and implement high-performance blockchain applications and smart contracts, and optimize code for scalability and security. You will mentor and review the work of other developers, integrate with blockchain protocols and APIs, write clear documentation, and research emerging Rust and Web3 technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 3 years in Rust and blockchain development
- Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams
- Experience designing and building distributed systems consensus mechanisms and blockchain applications
- Experience with smart contract design and deployment
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies DeFi and play-to-earn gaming ecosystems
- Proficiency in cryptographic principles and familiarity with Ethereum Polkadot and Solana
- Experience with Substrate or other blockchain development frameworks is a plus
- Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Rust developers
- Conduct and lead code reviews and set development standards
- Drive development testing and deployment of Rust products for blockchain and Web3
- Collaborate with architects product managers and game developers on decentralized applications
- Optimize code for efficiency scalability and security
- Develop and maintain integrations with blockchain APIs libraries and protocols
- Write clean maintainable and well documented code and promote best practices
- Research emerging Rust blockchain and decentralized gaming technologies
