About Inco

Inco helps developers add confidentiality to smart contracts on existing blockchains. It supports encrypted onchain state, private operations, and programmable access control through two approaches: a TEE path for low latency and an FHE/MPC path for stronger privacy. The system works with EVM tooling for easier adoption.

About the Role

You will design, build, test, and maintain production-grade Solana programs in Rust. You will own smart contract features from architecture through deployment, security review, and production operation. You will optimize program performance, build onchain and offchain integrations, identify security risks, write robust tests, and mentor engineers through design discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong production experience in Rust
  • Significant hands-on experience building Solana programs or smart contracts
  • Strong understanding of Solana account models, runtime, PDAs, signer authorization, CPI, SPL Token, Token Extensions, transaction lifecycle, account locking, and compute constraints
  • Experience deploying and maintaining smart contracts or protocols handling real users or meaningful onchain value
  • Knowledge of smart contract security and adversarial thinking
  • Debugging and performance-optimization skills
  • Experience writing automated and integration tests
  • Ability to own complex technical projects from architecture to production
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Based in India

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain production-grade Solana programs in Rust
  • Architect onchain systems using PDAs, CPIs, account models, token programs, and transaction composition
  • Build integrations with wallets, DeFi protocols, token infrastructure, and onchain applications
  • Optimize programs for compute units, transaction size, account access, latency, and cost
  • Own smart contract features from technical design through deployment and production operation
  • Design interfaces between onchain programs and offchain infrastructure
  • Analyze trust assumptions, failure modes, concurrency, state management, and distributed-system behavior
  • Identify and remediate smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Write unit, integration, fuzz, and adversarial tests
  • Lead technical design discussions and code reviews
  • Mentor engineers and establish Solana engineering best practices
