About the Role
You will build and maintain secure, optimized blockchain applications. You will own epics from story writing and estimation through delivery and release, collaborate on technical design and architecture, report progress and risks, review code, and investigate issues across QA, UAT, and production.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software
- Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, including Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Familiarity with cryptography used by blockchains
- Administrative and organizational skills to prioritize work, manage time, and meet deadlines across projects
- Automated testing experience
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and judgment to evaluate their output
- Clear written English communication
- Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure and optimized blockchain applications
- Own epics end to end from story writing and estimation through delivery and release
- Build solutions across multiple languages for complex problems
- Report epic progress accurately and raise risks early
- Partner with senior engineers on technical design, architecture decisions, and future epics
- Use AI coding tools and rigorously review their output
- Review teammates' code for design concerns, edge cases, and test gaps
- Work with neighboring systems throughout delivery
- Investigate and resolve issues in QA, UAT, and production
