About the Role
You will lead a shift-based assembly team and ensure production targets for deadlines, quality, and cost are met. You will monitor production plans and performance metrics, address deviations, run daily production shopfloors, apply Lean Production practices, plan staffing, and coordinate manufacturing priorities with adjacent departments.
Requirements
- First leadership experience in an industrial environment
- Several years of experience in electromechanical assembly
- Technical or commercial bachelor's degree, or qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100
- Knowledge of quality methods including FMEA, 8D reports, root-cause analysis, SPC, Fishbone analysis, and MSA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Very good German and English language skills
Responsibilities
- Lead an assembly team in shift operations
- Ensure production performance meets deadline, quality, and cost targets
- Monitor production plans, actual performance, deviations, and key metrics
- Initiate countermeasures for production deviations
- Prepare and conduct daily production shopfloors
- Apply Lean Production and continuous improvement practices
- Generate manufacturing requirements and maintain operating-equipment specifications
- Plan staffing, vacation, and absences within the assembly team
- Schedule manufacturing orders, assign priorities, and coordinate with adjacent departments
