About the Role
You will design, develop, and test control and motion-planning algorithms for industrial robots. You will build performance-critical concurrent software, optimize real-time communication with robot controllers and peripheral devices, and support proofs of concept and customer deployments with project management and integration partners.
Requirements
- Academic background in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of academic or industry experience in robotics or software engineering
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
- Understanding of linear algebra and 3D geometry for robotics
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Business-level English or Japanese skills
Responsibilities
- Tackle motion-planning, control, and system-design challenges for industrial robots
- Design, develop, and test robotic-manipulation algorithms
- Build highly concurrent performance-critical software systems
- Implement and optimize real-time communication modules using C and C++
- Support proofs of concept and customer deployments with project management and integration teams
