About the Role
You will design automation concepts and integrated production lines using robots, existing equipment, conveyors, and production or logistics systems. You will select robot models, define hand and control specifications, manage quality, costs, and schedules, and coordinate internal and external engineers.
Requirements
- Development, design, or deployment experience at a robot manufacturer or factory-automation manufacturer in robotics, controls, mechanics, or electrical engineering
- Business-level Japanese proficiency
Responsibilities
- Design automation concepts based on customer requirements
- Design robot systems, including robot selection, hand specifications, and control specifications
- Evaluate line configurations incorporating peripheral equipment and conveying systems
- Design integrated systems across processes, equipment, and systems
- Manage project quality, cost, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with internal and external engineers
