About the Role
You will develop RF communications systems through design, simulation, testing, verification, and operations. You will define and trace requirements, perform spacecraft link-budget analysis, support design reviews, coordinate with hardware suppliers, and ensure applicable regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with an RF focus and 3 years of communications-systems development experience, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience
- Experience operating spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of RF and communications concepts including transmission lines, S-parameters, Fourier transforms, link budgets, modulation, power spectral density, and noise analysis
- Knowledge of antenna theory
- Knowledge of thermal and mass system design
- Knowledge of printed circuit board design
- Must be a U.S. Person
