About the Role
You will own revenue accounting for complex compute and colocation contracts under ASC 606. You will review contracts before signature, determine accounting treatment, run monthly billing, deferrals, and revenue recognition, and build NetSuite revenue automation as contract volume and complexity grow.
Requirements
- Experience owning ASC 606 revenue accounting for usage-based, subscription, or infrastructure contracts
- Experience writing technical accounting memos for auditors
- Ability to identify revenue-recognition issues during contract review
- Experience engineering efficient revenue-close processes
- Ability to partner with deal desk
- Knowledge of data-center or cloud revenue models
- Experience with NetSuite ARM
- Big Four experience
- IPO readiness experience
Responsibilities
- Own revenue accounting for complex compute and colocation contracts under ASC 606
- Review contracts before signature and determine the accounting conclusion
- Run monthly revenue close, including billing, deferrals, and revenue recognition
- Build revenue automation in NetSuite
