About the Role
You will design, execute, and refine molecular-biology, biochemistry, characterization, screening, and assay-development programs. You will partner with computational biologists to produce analysis-ready data, prioritize hypotheses, use AI tools for planning and interpretation, and turn learnings into evaluations, datasets, and failure cases.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in biological science or a related field
- Experience combining biological domain knowledge with computational approaches
- Python
- Machine learning development practices
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and iterate experimental biology programs
- Develop molecular biology, biochemistry, protein and nucleic acid characterization, functional screens, and assays
- Partner with computational biologists to produce high-quality analysis-ready data
- Generate and prioritize hypotheses using experimental judgment, literature, biological knowledge bases, and computational predictions
- Use AI agent frameworks for experimental planning, protocol development, and data interpretation
- Provide evaluations, datasets, and failure cases to model-improvement and product work
