About the Role
You will maintain structural-data bioinformatics pipelines, perform data curation and quality control, and support validation benchmarking. You will prepare and document datasets for release and publication, coordinate routine data management, and troubleshoot with scientists and engineers.
Requirements
- BS or MS in bioinformatics, structural biology, computational biology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with PDB, mmCIF, and mtz structural file formats
- Data handling and organization skills
- Ability to work across computational and experimental research teams
- Exposure to crystallography or cryo-EM processing and familiarity with PDB or EMDB databases is preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain and run bioinformatics pipelines for structural data processing, curation, and quality control
- Support development and benchmarking of validation metrics
- Assist with data deposition, formatting, and documentation
- Prepare datasets, figures, and summaries for publications and presentations
- Coordinate routine data management and troubleshooting with scientists and engineers
