About the Role
You will develop and execute small-molecule purification strategies using preparative SFC and LC. You will solve complex separations, support compound quality control, troubleshoot and maintain instruments, improve automated workflows, and deliver purified compounds and analytical data.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline with 0–5 years of relevant experience, or an M.S. with 7+ years or B.S. with 9+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in small-molecule chromatographic purification and method development
- Expertise in preparative SFC method development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of chromatographic separation science
- Instrument troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of medicinal chemistry and small-molecule drug discovery
- Scientific problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute small-molecule purification strategies using preparative SFC and LC
- Solve challenging separations through chromatographic method optimization
- Develop high-throughput compound QC workflows using LC/MS
- Establish purification and QC strategies with medicinal chemistry and HTE teams
- Troubleshoot SFC/LC purification and analytical QC instruments
- Support SFC, LC, and LC/MS platforms through maintenance and optimization
- Develop automated high-throughput purification and QC workflows
- Evaluate and implement chromatography, analytical, automation, and informatics technologies
