About the Role
You will advise on legal questions throughout frontier-model research, including data sourcing, training, evaluation, launches, research collaborations, and responsible scaling. You will provide practical guidance on AI regulation, privacy, copyright, export controls, biosecurity, and data governance.

Responsibilities
- Advise research and data teams on data sourcing, licensing, partnerships, and use
- Coordinate regulatory readiness and model launches
- Review model documentation and system cards
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and advise on pre-release models
- Support Responsible Scaling Policy work on biological and chemical risk
- Counsel research teams on design, data collection, data sharing, collaborations, launches, and publication review
- Monitor global AI, privacy, copyright, and export-control developments
- Develop practical internal guidance and policy
- Engage with academics, regulators, industry groups, and civil society
