About the Role

You will lead and scale the tax function across seven Latin American countries. You will advise Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations; manage tax strategy, compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, audits, and tax authorities; develop the regional team; and improve tax processes and automation from the Bogotá office on a hybrid model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Law, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of professional tax experience
  • Experience leading and developing tax teams in regional or multinational environments
  • Deep knowledge of Colombian corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and ICA
  • Experience with tax frameworks in additional Latin American jurisdictions, especially Argentina, Chile, and Peru
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Licensed tax lawyer qualification is a plus
  • Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus
  • FinTech, payments, or financial services experience is a plus
  • Combination of Big Four consulting and in-house tax experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end tax function across seven Latin American jurisdictions
  • Advise Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations on tax implications
  • Manage regional transfer pricing, documentation, compliance, intercompany transactions, and tax planning
  • Direct regional tax audits, disputes, and interactions with tax authorities
  • Manage and develop direct reports and coordinate external advisors
  • Drive tax process improvements, automation, budgeting, forecasting, and global tax reporting
