About the Role
You will lead strategic planning, FP&A, and commercial finance efforts. You will own and improve the corporate financial model, develop profitability and customer cohort frameworks, support product and pricing decisions, optimize vendor costs, structure complex enterprise deals, and translate financial analysis into investor-facing materials and an equity story.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance or FP&A
- Financial training and operating leadership experience
- Investment banking or private equity background followed by high-growth technology strategic finance or FP&A experience
- FinTech experience
- Advanced financial modeling and integrated three-statement modeling skills
- Experience building models for leadership, business partners, investors, and regulators
- Experience with modern software tools and large datasets
- SQL or BI tools such as Databricks
- AI tools and process automation
- Knowledge of B2B and B2B2C API business models
- Knowledge of gross versus net revenue in payments or fintech
- Business documentation and communication skills
- Ability to present quantitative analysis in slides and memos
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the consolidated corporate three-statement financial model
- Create dynamic top-down and bottom-up forecasts for headcount planning and capital allocation
- Develop profitability frameworks for contribution margins by product and platform customer
- Align product roadmaps and technical resources with high-value customer demand
- Use competitive analysis and market comparables to validate pricing and maximize ROI
- Structure complex enterprise contracts and pricing levers to optimize deal value and margin expansion
- Lead or advise commercial negotiations with critical infrastructure vendors
- Manage the COGS stack and optimize unit economics
- Maintain financial model infrastructure, external presentation materials, and investor-facing models
- Translate financial data into a compelling equity story
- Develop and analyze LTV and CAC frameworks across product lines and verticals
