About the Role
Senior executive role responsible for developing and overseeing Telcoin Europe's compliance strategy, regulatory relationships, licensing activities, monitoring programmes, reporting, risk assessments, training, and governance framework.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in a senior compliance leadership role.
- Extensive experience in EMIs, payment institutions, banks, fintech companies, or digital asset and crypto businesses.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, MiCA, PSD2, DORA, GDPR, FATF standards, and ESMA Guidelines.
- Experience leading regulatory authorizations, licensing projects, and inspections.
- Direct experience with European financial regulators and supervisory authorities.
- Strong understanding of governance, internal controls, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership experience managing compliance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to balance commercial and regulatory objectives.
- Resident of Lithuania.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the regional Compliance function across Telcoin Europe's regulated entities.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the Group Compliance Framework.
- Ensure compliance with European and local requirements including MiCA, PSD2/PSD3, EMD2/EMD3, AML/CFT, GDPR, DORA, TFR, and consumer protection rules.
- Advise the CEO, Executive Management, and Board of Directors on compliance matters.
- Maintain relationships with regulators, financial intelligence units, and external auditors.
- Oversee licensing projects, authorization applications, supervisory interactions, monitoring, testing, and regulatory reporting.
- Review new products and strategic initiatives from a regulatory perspective.
- Develop compliance policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Lead compliance risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Deliver compliance training and coordinate with Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Operations, and Product teams.
- Support Board committees with reporting, regulatory updates, and compliance metrics.
