About the Role
You will lead technical and non-technical recruiting in Japan, build and coach a recruiting team, and turn business priorities into scalable hiring plans. You will advise leaders on the talent market, develop sourcing strategies, close critical hires, improve recruiting operations, and use data to shape workforce strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience leading recruiting teams in Japan
- Experience hiring technical and business functions in high-growth technology companies
- Knowledge of the Japan talent market
- Experience building engineering and enterprise sales organizations
- People leadership and recruiter development experience
- Experience partnering with executives and senior hiring managers
- Native Japanese fluency
- Strong written and verbal English communication
Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting across Japan for technical and non-technical roles
- Build and develop a recruiting team
- Partner with senior leaders to create hiring strategies and market plans
- Advise on Japan talent market conditions, compensation trends, and organizational design
- Develop sourcing strategies
- Recruit and close senior and business-critical hires
- Improve recruiting operations, interview quality, and candidate experience
- Partner with People, Compensation, Immigration, and Recruiting Operations
- Use recruiting data and market insights to influence workforce strategy
