About the Role
This role builds risk monitoring systems and capital allocation algorithms, designs and operates DeFi trading strategies, manages portfolio risk across chains and venues, supports liquidity agreements and incentive programs, and uses AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in quantitative trading, systematic strategy research, or algorithmic development.
- Solid Python skills and experience building data pipelines, backtests, or trading tools.
- Deep knowledge of DeFi protocol mechanics, including Uniswap, Curve, Orca, Aave, and Morpho.
- Understanding of blockchain infrastructure and onchain data.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, computer engineering, applied mathematics, or physics.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain risk monitoring systems and capital allocation algorithms for an onchain curator program.
- Develop quantitative frameworks for position sizing, exposure management, and drawdown controls across DeFi protocols.
- Track real-time portfolio risk across chains and trading venues.
- Design and operate trading strategies across AMMs, lending markets, perpetuals, and structured products.
- Identify market inefficiencies in onchain markets, liquidity pools, and token incentive mechanisms.
- Iterate on live strategies based on onchain data, protocol changes, and market microstructure.
- Monitor deployed strategies and manage operational incidents across multiple blockchains.
- Assist with liquidity provision agreements, incentive arrangements, token agreements, and liquidity mining programs.
- Track performance against agreed terms and contribute to counterparty reporting.
- Champion thoughtful AI adoption and use AI tools to improve productivity and output quality.
