About the Role

You will enhance an in-house quantitative research platform and develop new features. You will generate data ideas, alpha ideas, and research hypotheses, then build automated workflows using AI agents for data analysis, signal discovery, backtesting, and experimentation. You will translate research ideas into actionable trading strategies.

Requirements

  • MPhil or PhD in Physics Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or Engineering
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong foundation in statistics probability and quantitative modeling
  • Strong problem-solving skills especially for optimization problems
  • Proficiency with AI tools and AI agents
  • Understanding of agentic design patterns
  • Ability to design multi-step tool-using AI workflows for quantitative research
  • Strong research mindset
  • Understanding of backtesting validation and overfitting
  • Experience in quantitative trading crypto markets or financial markets is a strong plus
  • Ability to independently develop research ideas and translate them into actionable trading strategies
