About the Role
Wincent is seeking quantitative research/trading interns to work on market signals, trading strategies, statistical analysis, quantitative models, and cryptocurrency trading projects. The internship is fully on-site in Bratislava, runs for seven weeks during summer 2027, and includes training, mentorship, practical exercises, and exposure to real trading work.
Requirements
- Love for games or betting.
- Basic coding skills in Python or a similar language.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for cryptocurrency markets.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to commit full-time for the seven-week summer 2027 internship.
- On-site participation in Bratislava, Slovakia.
- Prior trading experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Identify market signals and analyze trading strategies.
- Conduct statistical analysis and construct quantitative models.
- Work on practical quantitative research and trading projects.
- Use Python, Pandas, SQL, and Grafana for data analysis and real-time monitoring.
- Participate in mock trading sessions, manual trading exercises, games, and open-ended quant problem solving.
- Collaborate with experienced traders, quants, engineers, and other interns.

Hiring Process
Online take-home math test covering probability, logic, and mathematical skills; 45-minute quant interview; 90-minute quant interview discussing background and solving medium-hard problems; and a final on-site interview in Bratislava involving betting games. The process typically takes one to three weeks.
