About the Role
You will own quality on the polymer production line through process and product audits, containment, and material-review activities. You will investigate nonconforming material, analyze production data, track audit compliance, collect mechanical test data, and drive corrective actions to closure.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a polymer or materials production environment
- Hands-on experience with adhesive dispensing processes and failure modes
- Experience leading root-cause investigations and containment activities
- Proficiency with Excel, JMP, or Minitab
- Familiarity with PFMEA and Control Plans
- Associate's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Contain production-line issues and document investigations
- Lead Material Review Board activities
- Track process-audit compliance and close nonconformances
- Analyze production data for emerging trends
- Collect and report destructive pull-test and hardness-measurement data
