About the Role
You will develop and maintain quality-control processes for embedded hardware. You will define quality metrics and standards, perform tests, maintain records, investigate non-conformance events, implement corrective actions, train internal personnel, and conduct process audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Experience in quality assurance for embedded systems
- Understanding of embedded-device manufacturing processes
- Japanese and English communication skills
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of embedded-systems quality-assurance standards and best practices
- Understanding of Python, C/C++, and Bash scripting
Responsibilities
- Develop quality-control processes and quality performance indicators
- Establish internal quality standards
- Perform quality tests and maintain quality records
- Lead failure investigations and identify root causes of non-conformance events
- Propose corrective and preventive actions
- Execute quality-improvement tasks
- Train personnel for internal qualification processes
- Conduct regular process audits
- Maintain audit documentation
