About the Role

You will plan and perform system- and set-level validation for NPU products. You will evaluate functional performance, environmental reliability, mechanical stress, and long-term stability; investigate failures; coordinate corrective actions; and report validation results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, semiconductors, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of Hardware QA, validation, or reliability experience.
  • Ability to plan and perform system- and set-level hardware functional, reliability, and environmental evaluations.
  • Understanding of PCB, PCBA, basic circuits, power, thermal behavior, and mechanical environments.
  • Ability to use hardware validation equipment and analyze anomalies from test conditions and measurements.
  • Ability to translate product requirements into test plans and pass or fail criteria and document results.
  • Ability to collaborate with development, manufacturing, and supplier organizations on root-cause analysis and improvement validation.

Responsibilities

  • Define system-level validation plans, samples, conditions, test items, and pass or fail criteria across EVT, DVT, and PVT stages.
  • Evaluate NPU accelerator functionality, performance, and long-term stability under environmental conditions.
  • Plan and perform mechanical shock, vibration, power-cycling, burn-in, RDT, and ORT testing.
  • Compare pre-stress, in-stress, and post-stress behavior and identify intermittent, thermal, and power-related failures.
  • Investigate PCB, PCBA, NPU, and power-circuit failures using logs and measurements.
  • Coordinate X-ray, SAT, and cross-section analysis with specialist teams and suppliers.
  • Manage test conditions, sample histories, equipment settings, results, and reliability reports.
