About the Role
You will plan, design, and execute system testing across features and complex solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review requirements and technical designs, create test cases, perform manual and exploratory testing, document defects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to test automation and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant quality assurance and testing experience
- Basic knowledge of test automation techniques, frameworks, and tools
- Experience specifying and running scenarios and test cases
- Experience with bug management tools and bug reporting
- Exploratory testing and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize widespread user issues and complaints
- Understanding of application context and quality attributes
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control
- Experience working in an agile or lean environment
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Follow product development from conception through production delivery
- Write test specifications and test case scenarios
- Perform continuous manual and exploratory testing
- Plan testing activities and identify defects, operational problems, and errors
- Record and document defects so developers and business analysts can reproduce them
- Troubleshoot issues and identify product-efficiency improvements
- Contribute to the automation framework
- Ensure products meet requirements and end-user expectations
- Create and improve quality assurance policies and procedures
