About the Role
You will establish and lead quality assurance and testing practices across the fintech platform. You will design and execute test plans, build and maintain regression suites (manual initially with progressive automation), validate API functionality and data flows, and oversee end-to-end and integration testing. You will manage defect tracking and release readiness, participate in release cycles to ensure deployments are validated, mentor and guide QA and junior engineers, and track quality metrics to continuously improve testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years in QA software testing or test engineering
- Experience leading or mentoring QA or testing teams
- API testing experience
- Integration and end-to-end workflow testing experience
- Familiarity with Postman and API testing tools
- Familiarity with Selenium Playwright or Cypress
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Knowledge of data flows between systems
- Experience with defect tracking and release management
- Strong analytical communication and organizational skills
- Preferred experience in fintech banking or payments systems
- Preferred experience testing systems with multiple third-party integrations
- Preferred exposure to onboarding compliance or transaction workflows
- Preferred experience working in regulated environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor QA and junior engineers
