About the Role
You will establish and lead the quality assurance function. You will implement a quality management system, define inspection and documentation processes, manage supplier quality, resolve root causes with engineering and production, maintain traceability, and prepare for FAA, DoD, and ISO audits.
Requirements
- 8+ years of quality assurance or quality engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing
- Experience establishing and scaling QMS processes in a production environment
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent frameworks
- Experience solving production and supplier issues
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and flight teams
- Documentation skills and attention to detail
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to ITAR regulations

- Build and lead the quality assurance function
- Implement a Quality Management System across receiving, development, production, and delivery
- Establish inspection and documentation processes
- Define QA checkpoints and drive root-cause improvements
- Manage supplier quality and incoming inspection programs
- Ensure build documentation, traceability, and accountability
- Prepare for FAA, DoD, and ISO audits
- Build quality practices that support speed
