About the Role

You will establish and manage access controls for a data center construction project. You will coordinate site access, deliveries, logistics, cleanliness, construction security, safety orientations, PPE compliance, project reporting, cost tracking, scheduling, commissioning planning, and stakeholder coordination. You will also support risk management, regulatory coordination, vendor oversight, and community programs.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in construction
  • Experience managing project tasks, project controls, contractors, and external consultants
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Knowledge of cost management tools, project controls systems, and scheduling software
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and Power BI
  • Basic understanding of data center electrical, mechanical, power, structural, and civil systems
  • Current knowledge of NFPA 70 electrical safety protocols
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to scale processes across concurrent tasks
  • Ability to drive accountability across project teams
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the project access controls strategy
  • Establish site access and risk management processes
  • Coordinate construction, deliveries, procurement, and operations
  • Support project delivery and L0–L5 commissioning planning
  • Track changes, cost approvals, forecasts, and budget performance
  • Plan equipment deliveries and coordinate with riggers
  • Provide daily manpower and safety incident reports
  • Implement reporting systems using Procore, P6, Smartsheet, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Manage relationships with owner representatives, consultants, and project controls partners
  • Support oversight of A&E firms, general contractors, commissioning agents, and vendors
  • Coordinate regulatory, permitting, and utility activities
  • Support schedule adherence, safety compliance, quality outcomes, and risk mitigation
