About the Role
You will research and shape the AI resources portfolio, identify how to scale resources to grantees, conduct program research, and support grantmaking. In the partnerships specialization, you will pursue compute deals, design financing arrangements, and manage relationships involving model access, tokens, and compute.
Requirements
- Technical judgment and generalist execution across operations, grantmaking, research, strategy, and partnerships
- Knowledge of frontier AI capabilities and risks
- Compute literacy across data centers, compute, AI models, and infrastructure
- Familiarity with the AI resilience, safety, and security ecosystem
- Experience using AI tools
- Grantmaking, philanthropy, or research-funding experience
- Experience with compute capacity deals, tokens, GPU clusters, or compute providers
- Technical expertise in the AI stack, safety, alignment, or evaluations
Responsibilities
- Research the AI resources portfolio and shape team strategy
- Determine how to scale AI resources to grantees and internal work
- Conduct research on AI resource demand, value, and organizational capacity
- Support grantmaking, diligence, and resource delivery
- Identify priority projects and organizations
- Explore and execute compute acquisitions, deals, and rentals
- Design financing arrangements with finance, legal, and tax partners
- Manage partnerships for model access, tokens, and compute arrangements
