About the Role
You will work directly with traders, software developers, quants, and stakeholders to build project requirements, milestones, resources, and timelines, ensuring the successful deployment of new products and features. You should have proven experience using Agile methodology and excel at managing projects that cross team departments while also exhibiting excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. You must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct experience as a Program or Project Manager utilizing Agile methodology
- Strong experience working across multiple departments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, needs, and deadlines
- Ability to elicit cooperation from management, developers, traders, and other sources
- Ability to work onsite at Belvedere's Chicago headquarters full-time, five days per traditional work week
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute software development projects with clear timelines and deliverables
- Engage in cost/benefit analysis to help control risk and uncertainty related to successful project completion
- Monitor project KPIs and help the team stay focused and deliver impact
- Ensure projects have defined requirements, milestones, and rollout strategy
- Communicate project expectations and updates to stakeholders
- Work with executives and handle upward communication
- Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Direct project teams and manage conflicts within teams
- Report project updates and key metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Adhere to the company's Agile-based software development methods
- Contribute to education on project management best practices
