About the Role
You will manage the daily flow of drone imagery through map generation and release. You will prioritize and track customer orders, perform quality checks, troubleshoot processing and transfer issues, coordinate seasonal technicians, maintain documentation, communicate delivery information, and track production performance.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant education, technical training, or work experience in GIS, geography, remote sensing, information technology, operations, or engineering technology
- 2+ years of experience in technical operations, production operations, data processing, quality control, GIS, remote sensing, or IT support
- Experience working with large files or datasets, cloud transfers, shared or network drives, file integrity, or physical storage media
- Windows file-management, shared-drive, permissions, and troubleshooting skills
- Google Sheets or Excel proficiency
- Ability to identify image and data-quality issues and processing errors
- Ability to troubleshoot error messages, prioritize work, document issues, and escalate appropriately
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines
- Ability to work Eastern Time business hours
Responsibilities
- Own daily rock-map generation and release operations
- Manage incoming customer orders, remote transfers, and physical SSD drives
- Review and submit drone imagery for processing
- Track orders through processing, quality control, release, and drive return
- Perform field-boundary, image-quality, and object-detection quality checks
- Troubleshoot, document, and escalate pipeline, file-transfer, and server issues
- Coordinate daily priorities for seasonal processing technicians
- Maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation
- Communicate order status, risks, and delivery timelines
- Track production metrics, backlog, turnaround time, quality findings, and capacity
- Support process improvement, staffing, and capacity planning
- Handle and track customer data and physical storage devices appropriately
