About the Role
Lead all production activities at Crusoe's Ponchatoula, Louisiana facility, overseeing product flow, planning, execution, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, cross-functional coordination, resource optimization, cost reduction, and production metrics.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive production management experience in a design/build manufacturing environment
- At least 4+ years in a management role
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Understanding of Build to Order and Configure to Order manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Acumatica, SAP, or Oracle, plus Smartsheet and Google's software suite
- Ability to lead a diverse team in a dynamic environment
- Ability to pass a background check
- Participation in a drug and alcohol program
Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of production at the Ponchatoula facility
- Design production plans aligned with project specifications and organizational goals
- Champion Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Enforce standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with Project Management, Scheduling, Sales, and Engineering
- Mentor department managers and support professional development
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Optimize space utilization and production capabilities
- Evaluate human and machine resources to minimize downtime and costs
- Set productivity goals and track manufacturing metrics
- Report performance to executive leadership
