About the Role
You will scale robot-system production from 30 to 100 sets per quarter within a year. You will take modules from prototype to production, resolve design and assembly issues, develop assembly tooling, coordinate outsourced production, and create documentation and quality checks.
Requirements
- Industry experience transitioning products from prototype to production
- Hands-on analytical ability in assembly, studies, data analysis, production, and quality improvement
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly, including press fits, fastener selection, and harnesses
- Knowledge of GD&T and 3D and 2D drawings
- Experience creating work instructions, SOPs, and quality checklists
- Written and spoken English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Increase quarterly production from 30 robot-system sets to 100 within a year
- Take prototype modules to production readiness
- Identify and resolve design flaws and production issues
- Assemble modules and remove production bottlenecks
- Develop fixtures, jigs, and light automation for assembly
- Outsource low-value production processes while maintaining quality
- Produce drawings, assembly instructions, and quality checks
