About the Role
You will coordinate inventory requests, material and production schedules, work orders, and kits for data center construction and operations. You will verify received materials, reconcile bill of materials quantities, maintain accurate system data, communicate status, support corrective actions, and improve receiving, inventory, kitting, and material flow.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ year of supply chain, inventory, or manufacturing experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work at elevated heights and in extreme outdoor environments
- Willingness to operate forklifts and loaders
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and up to 20% travel
- Ability to work onsite in the Memphis, Tennessee and Southaven, Mississippi area
Responsibilities
- Create inventory requests from work orders, kits, and replacement parts
- Maintain material and production schedules and manage shortages
- Handle and protect parts and equipment to specification
- Coordinate work-order and material-request releases
- Reconcile work-order bill of material quantities
- Maintain accurate company system data and resolve incorrect data
- Verify received material against paperwork for damage, part number, quantity, and revision
- Communicate part status and estimated completion dates
- Perform de-kitting and manage return-to-stock processes
- Improve receiving, inventory, kitting, and material flow
