About the Role
You will lead daily inventory operations at the Milpitas site. You will supervise receiving, warehouse coordinators, and material handlers; maintain accurate inventory records; manage receiving, cycle counts, kitting, shipments, safety, and SOPs; and plan inventory capacity for growing production volumes.
Requirements
- At least three years of inventory or warehouse operations experience in manufacturing or electronics.
- Experience using SAP, NetSuite, or comparable ERP systems for receiving, transfers, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
- Experience managing inventory and leading teams.
- Excel proficiency, including lookups, pivot tables, and transaction reporting.
- Experience running cycle-count programs and investigating inventory variances.
- Communication skills for coordinating with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Ability to work in ESD-controlled areas, lift up to 50 lb, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation between San Jose and Milpitas.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the inventory team, set priorities, schedule shifts, train coordinators, and work alongside the team.
- Manage end-to-end receiving in NetSuite or ERP, including inspection, verification, labeling, put-away, and routing.
- Resolve receipt discrepancies with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering.
- Maintain accurate on-hand, allocated, in-transit, and consigned inventory balances.
- Run cycle counts, investigate variances to root cause, correct records, and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure build kits are complete, current to released BOM revisions, and staged on time.
- Coordinate material requests, picking, staging, and distribution for builds and testing.
- Maintain clean, safe, organized lab and warehouse spaces and oversee ESD, 5S, and safety programs.
- Maintain SOPs for receiving, transfers, consignment, RMA, returns, and scrap.
- Improve labeling, storage systems, material flow, space planning, staffing, and systems.
