About the Role
You will develop and improve sustainment tools, dashboards, and data pipelines for fleet and maintenance metrics. You will analyze reliability, availability, and maintainability data; support FMECA and FRACAS activities; and collaborate to automate data collection and improve technical documentation.
Requirements
- Be a current student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understand probability, statistics, and engineering economics as applied to reliability and logistics
- Communicate complex data sets as actionable engineering recommendations
- Commit to an on-site, 10-week full-time internship program
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize sustainment tools, dashboards, and data pipelines for fleet metrics and maintenance data
- Assist with reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses, including FMECA
- Clean and analyze telemetry, maintenance-log, and supply-chain data using Python, SQL, and Palantir Foundry
- Support FRACAS activities to identify component-failure trends and improve product lifecycle management
- Partner with software engineering, logistics, and field operations to automate data collection and improve technical documentation
