About the Role

As the founding Product Operations Lead, you will own the operational backbone of the Product organization, including the systems, cadences, and standards that help PMs, designers, and engineers plan, build, and ship consistently. You will build from first principles, establish a lightweight operating model, and identify opportunities for AI and agentic workflows to improve product work.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or a similar role
  • Experience standing up or significantly scaling a product operating model from a blank page
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable operating models
  • High ownership, scrappiness, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong product instincts and empathy for PMs and cross-functional partners
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and a point of view on agentic workflows

Responsibilities

  • Learn how Product currently plans and ships and identify the highest-leverage gaps within the first 30 days
  • Propose a lightweight operating model
  • Stand up planning cycles, product reviews, roadmap tracking, and execution tracking within 90 days
  • Define the PM tool stack
  • Own and evolve the Product operating system in partnership with Engineering
  • Design and run lightweight operating cadences
  • Improve visibility into product priorities, progress, and decisions
  • Identify and implement automation, AI, and agent capabilities
  • Build systems for sharing high-quality product work and decisions
  • Build feedback loops and synthesize customer and ecosystem signal into roadmap inputs
  • Own PM onboarding and enablement
  • Partner with Product leadership to reinforce a high-performing product culture
