About the Role
You will define goals, specifications, and standards for website pages and features. You will prioritize work across the site, coordinate research, design, and development through launch, gather audience insights, provide feedback, and perform quality assurance before pages go live.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong product judgment and the ability to explain product decisions.
- Write clear briefs, decision notes, and messages.
- Interpret data, charts, and research.
- Understand the needs of policy professionals, journalists, researchers, and AI-lab audiences.
- Have experience shipping web products with designers and developers.
- Communicate product priorities effectively with stakeholders.
- Organize decisions and follow up on work.
- Attend three annual team retreats.
- Have professional-level English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set goals and specifications for new pages and features with researchers and designers.
- Prioritize work across the website based on audience needs and usability.
- Define standards for page layouts, filters, charts, terminology, and shared site components.
- Run projects from goals and specifications through design, review, development, and launch.
- Provide feedback on designs and resolve questions from designers and developers.
- Use analytics, feedback forms, and user interviews to inform product decisions.
- Perform quality assurance on pages before launch.
