About the Role

You will own the recommendations strategy and roadmap across product surfaces. You will partner with machine learning engineers and data scientists to build recommendation approaches and experiments, grounding technical decisions in user needs. You will analyze user and product data, define success metrics, and run experiments that improve personalization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience
• Track record of improving consumer experiences through personalization
• Fluency in recommendation systems and their evaluation
• Data-analysis experience
• Experience defining success metrics and designing rigorous experiments
• Product judgment connecting user needs, algorithm development, and business impact
• Clear communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Willingness to travel once per quarter for larger team meetings

• Own recommendations strategy and roadmap across product surfaces
• Partner with UX product teams to personalize their features
• Partner with machine learning engineers and data scientists to design recommendation approaches and experiments
• Ground technical decisions in user needs and behavior
• Build understanding of users and product surfaces through data
• Own experiments that improve success metrics
