About the Role
You will shape product strategy and execution for core lending infrastructure. You will own and prioritize the protocol roadmap, conduct continuous user discovery, translate insights into product requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and guide initiatives from exploration through implementation, audit, launch, and adoption. You will define success metrics, use data and ecosystem feedback to iterate, align stakeholders, and improve product decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building technical products in complex or fast-changing environments
- Proven ability to take products or major features from ambiguous problem spaces through launch and iteration
- Technical fluency in system design and constraints
- Product judgment and tradeoff decision-making
- User discovery and synthesis skills
- Experience leading cross-functional work without formal authority
- Ability to define success and use quantitative and qualitative evidence
- Excellent written and verbal communication in an asynchronous environment
- Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in ambiguous contexts
- Strong ownership and autonomy
- Experience in crypto, DeFi, traditional finance, or fintech
- Familiarity with lending markets, smart contracts, or permissionless protocols
- Experience shipping products with security, audit, regulatory, or governance considerations
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the protocol roadmap based on company goals, user needs, technical constraints, and ecosystem dynamics
- Run continuous discovery with curators, distributors, integrators, developers, and other protocol users
- Translate user and market insights into product requirements, decision frameworks, and success criteria
- Partner with protocol, engineering, research, security, legal, solutions, partnerships, and marketing teams to deliver initiatives
- Evaluate product and technical tradeoffs across protocol, infrastructure, and partner enablement
- Define and track quantitative and qualitative signals to evaluate protocol initiatives
- Communicate product direction, decisions, tradeoffs, and release implications to stakeholders
- Improve product decision-making and documentation processes
