About the Role
You will design, build, and ship end-to-end AI-powered applications from prototype through production. You will develop scalable APIs and services, create reliable AI pipelines, integrate AI features into full-stack products, and write production-grade, testable code. You will evaluate AI tools and models, improve prompting strategies and guardrails, and collaborate to deliver polished product experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record of shipping production applications
- Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks
- Strong knowledge of modern web stacks and cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of architecture, scalability, performance, and security
- Knowledge of testing, code reviews, monitoring, and observability
- Clear communication and self-management
- Ability to learn new languages and frameworks and use AI development tools
Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end applications from prototype to production across frontend, backend, and cloud
- Build scalable APIs and services and integrate AI models
- Create reliable and maintainable AI pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, embeddings, retrieval, and orchestration
- Engineer prompting strategies and guardrails for latency, cost, and accuracy
- Integrate AI features into full-stack applications with APIs, frontend user experiences, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver polished product experiences
- Evaluate new AI tools and models for performance, cost, and fit
- Write production-grade, testable, maintainable code in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python
