About the Role
You will own product experiences across trading interfaces, explorers, onboarding, wallets, leaderboards, dashboards, and future products. You will speak with users, identify worthwhile opportunities, create rapid prototypes and initial mockups, guide external designers, make small code changes, resolve usability issues, and define API and SDK needs with engineers.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong product judgment and the ability to turn vague problems into product decisions
- Produce initial mockups and communicate a clear design direction
- Work comfortably in a codebase to prototype and make small changes
- Understand trading products and user behavior
- Use AI tools across research, prototyping, design, and coding
- Show a track record of shipping products used by real people
- Bring familiarity with TypeScript and React as an advantage
- Bring experience building trading or financial applications as an advantage
- Bring crypto or DeFi experience as an advantage
- Bring product management experience as an advantage
Responsibilities
- Own product surfaces from initial concept through launch
- Interview traders to understand their needs and decide what to build
- Create rapid prototypes using AI tools, no-code tools, and rough builds
- Produce initial mockups and establish the design direction
- Gather design inspiration and references
- Guide the external design team and improve the quality of its work
- Make small changes and experiments in the codebase
- Identify and address usability issues
- Define product requirements for APIs and SDKs with protocol and backend engineers
- Set the quality standard for product experiences
