About the Role
You will lead design for Payroll, define its long-term UX vision, guide AI and automation initiatives, simplify complex workflows, establish design standards, partner across functions, and manage and mentor a team of designers.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of product design experience
- 3+ years leading and managing design teams
- Experience designing in complex or regulated domains
- Experience setting UX direction across multiple teams
- Experience leading AI or automation initiatives
- Experience assessing AI-generated design directions
- Cross-functional alignment and strategic communication
- Systems thinking
- Experience leading an AI workflow transition
- Clear communication and storytelling skills
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for Payroll
- Define and communicate the long-term UX vision
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations on strategy and roadmaps
- Lead AI and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with Research and Data to identify customer insights
- Influence product and technical roadmaps
- Set quality standards for design work
- Define and scale shared design patterns and standards
- Manage and mentor designers
- Champion Payroll integration across the People Platform
