About the Role
You will lead the design of decentralized finance products and experiences for web3 users. You will translate research into product ideas, workflows, and detailed interactions; create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and prototypes; and validate designs through research and data. You will represent the user throughout the product lifecycle, partner with Product and Engineering, shape the design vision with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership, facilitate design reviews and workshops, and mentor other designers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related fields, with people management experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams of Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Researchers.
- Understanding of design-critical thinking and user-centered design methodologies.
- Understanding of experimentation and research techniques to validate designs independently.
- A diverse portfolio of design work.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize Product, Engineering, and Marketing needs into design deliverables.
- Translate research insights into product ideas, workflows, and detailed interactions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define initiatives and represent the user throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the design vision.
- Elevate design quality through design reviews, presentations, feedback, and design thinking workshops.
- Mentor designers on craft, quality, experience, and processes.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
