About the Role

Textile is seeking a hands-on Product Design Lead to shape design strategy and execution for AI-powered products. The role focuses on translating complex AI capabilities into simple interfaces, rapidly prototyping, conducting user research, collaborating with customers and engineers, and delivering production-ready UX for developer-focused tools.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing interfaces for AI products, developer tools, or complex technical systems.
• Code-comfortable and able to discuss implementation details with engineers.
• Strong user research and data-informed decision-making skills.
• Experience building design systems and component libraries.
• Bias toward action and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Experience leading design initiatives and mentoring designers.
• Familiarity with onchain/Web3, SQL, big data, NFTs, or tokens is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex product UX work for developer-facing tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate agent configuration workflows.
• Create monitoring and insights dashboards for agent activity and performance.
• Define design principles for AI-driven tools.
• Develop a scalable agent-centric design system and component library.
• Prototype interaction patterns and validate them with users.
• Conduct user research and customer interviews.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into simple, usable interfaces.
• Improve collaboration flows for developers, operators, and analysts.
• Deliver production-ready UI specifications and work with engineering.
• Measure usability and iterate based on data and feedback.
