About the Role

You will drive the design direction across Gen's products, with a key focus on Freemium experiences. You'll provide the oversight needed to align cross-functional teams, define a clear experience strategy, and elevate the quality and consistency of the products. You'll lead a team of designers, deliver customer-centric and data-informed experiences, oversee interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, and present your work to product teams and senior leaders. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to accelerate design workflows and improve personalisation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of design leadership experience within technology-driven, product-focused companies
• Proven success leading design teams of 5+ designers delivering large-scale initiatives across platforms
• Expertise in defining and executing design vision across early-stage (0-1) products and mature B2C products
• Strategic product thinking with a track record of shaping product goals and decisions grounded in customer impact and business outcomes
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work and design thinking
• Comfortable working within geographically distributed teams
• Experience using AI tools with measurable outcomes improving speed, efficiency, or quality at scale
• Previous experience within cybersecurity, digital safety, or consumer security products is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Deliver customer-centric and data-informed experiences that are meaningful, cohesive, accessible, and usable
• Oversee all aspects of design, including interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
• Present work to product teams and senior leaders, clearly articulating goals, rationale, and concepts
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to ensure products meet customer needs and value
• Apply emerging technologies, including AI, to accelerate design workflows, improve personalisation, and enhance decision-making
