About the Role
Ripple is seeking a Privacy Senior Manager to manage global privacy program operations, improve processes and controls, support regulatory compliance, and help address privacy and related regulatory matters across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- 6–8+ years of privacy program management experience.
- Experience drafting and reviewing privacy-related contract terms.
- Experience supporting global privacy initiatives, including US state privacy laws, EU GDPR, UK data protection regulations, and other international privacy regimes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation, writing, speaking, and tailoring content to specific audiences.
- Commercially minded team player able to solve complex privacy issues in the financial services sector.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Privacy certification.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day global privacy operations, including data subject requests, process improvements, inventory updates, data mapping, and privacy impact assessments.
- Develop and operationalize global privacy policies and procedures.
- Monitor global privacy legislation and lead implementation of new requirements.
- Develop and deliver privacy training.
- Maintain program metrics and identify risks and trends.
- Support and maintain privacy tools.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and program materials for employees, subsidiaries, and senior leadership.
- Provide operational support to the Regulatory Compliance team on licensing, operational resilience, outsourcing, and related matters.
