About the Role
You lead server and rack-level system bring-up, enablement, validation, and hardware debugging on Arm server platforms. You establish scalable debug methodologies, resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues, track risks and priorities, publish metrics, communicate status to stakeholders, develop automation, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive validation and debugging experience involving operating systems, firmware, silicon, and hardware
- Understanding of PCIe and CXL
- Knowledge of Arm CPU or x86 architectures
- Knowledge of SoC design, memory subsystems, RAS, and power management
- Experience with system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategies
- Understanding of platform-level and system-level debugging involving operating systems, device drivers, and BIOS
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience leading technical programs
- Understanding of data center technologies and software stacks
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with large-scale server platforms and hyperscale data centers
- Expertise in automation, scripting, and debug tool development
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive a Debug Center of Excellence
- Create scalable debug and triage methodologies, processes, and playbooks
- Debug issues during server rack bring-up, post-silicon validation, and production
- Lead complex debug efforts across silicon, server systems, firmware, and software
- Resolve issues within program timelines
- Manage technical issues, risks, and priorities
- Develop and publish debug metrics and indicators
- Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities
- Drive innovation through tool development, scripting, and methodology enhancements
- Mentor engineers and promote system validation and debugging best practices
