About the Role
You will set test strategy and mentor QA engineers while building scalable Python test infrastructure. You will automate end-to-end and regression testing, validate firmware and hardware-software integrations, investigate defects, and communicate quality risks across engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of industry experience
- 8+ years of software-development experience
- 8+ years of experience developing and testing lower-layer software stacks
- 5+ years of firmware design, implementation, and troubleshooting experience
- 3+ years of embedded architecture and IO technology experience including PCIe, GPUs, and CPUs
- Fluency in Python
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Ability to debug complex hardware-software issues
- Verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor QA engineers in test planning, test-case design, automation, and debugging
- Define test-coverage strategies for features and deployment scenarios
- Drive root-cause analysis and resolution workflows for test failures and escaped defects
- Design, implement, and maintain Python-based Pytest test suites
- Build end-to-end and regression test suites integrated with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Develop test infrastructure for validating workloads and ML models
- Design and execute tests for FPGAs, bootloaders, host runtime drivers, firmware, embedded architectures, and PCIe
- Validate integration across CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators
- Triaging and debug hardware-software issues
- Communicate test plans, quality status, and risks
