About the Role
You will own the architecture and delivery of Python automation systems for device provisioning, testing, remediation, network configuration, GPU monitoring, and self-healing. You will set technical direction, establish operational standards, mentor senior engineers, integrate infrastructure tooling, and partner with infrastructure, platform, and SRE stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12-15+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems
- Strong Python engineering experience
- Experience leading complex multi-service distributed systems
- Technical leadership in infrastructure automation or workflow tooling
- Experience owning technical roadmaps and delivering large-scale automation
- Knowledge of SLOs, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and production reliability
- Strong mentorship and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead Fleet Manager architecture and technical roadmap
- Own delivery of device provisioning, validation, testing, and remediation workflows
- Build workflow orchestration for GPU nodes and network switches
- Establish reliability, observability, and operational standards
- Mentor senior engineers through reviews and hands-on collaboration
- Drive architecture decisions for maintainable automation
- Integrate DCIM, NetBox, OpenStack, and bare-metal APIs
- Partner with Infrastructure, Platform, and SRE teams
- Build production-grade Python automation systems
