About the Role

You will support real cluster deployments by verifying cabling and network links. You will develop Python tooling that makes deployments faster and less error-prone, troubleshoot network issues methodically, and contribute code used on live clusters.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a relevant program, have military experience in communications, network, or cyber, or have 2+ years of prior work as a network or systems engineer or administrator
  • Understand TCP/IP, subnetting, Layer 2, Layer 3, and routing
  • Have programming or scripting experience
  • Use the Linux command line
  • Travel to data center sites 1–2 times
  • Be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Verify cabling and links during cluster deployments
  • Develop Python tooling for network deployments
  • Troubleshoot network issues methodically
  • Contribute code to the team repository
