About the Role
You will set the technical security direction across platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems. You will lead threat modelling and architecture reviews, embed secure-by-design practices in development, improve detection and incident response, and guide secure handling of multi-tenant sensitive data. You will also mentor senior practitioners and advise enterprise customers on security matters.
Requirements
- 15+ years of security engineering experience with Staff- or Principal-level impact
- Expertise in application security or cloud security, threat modelling, and secure distributed cloud-native architecture
- Hands-on cloud security experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Understanding of identity and access management, encryption, and secure enterprise data handling
- Experience securing sensitive or regulated data
- Experience driving security strategy and influencing engineering culture
- Ability to communicate security risks and trade-offs to engineers, leadership, and customers
- Interest in emerging AI security challenges
Responsibilities
- Own the technical security engineering strategy across platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems
- Lead threat modelling and architecture reviews for existing and new systems
- Drive secure-by-design practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Design and improve detection, monitoring, and incident-response capabilities
- Guide security architecture for multi-tenant sensitive-data flows
- Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance through sound, documented technical controls
- Mentor senior engineers and security practitioners
- Advise enterprise customers and partners on security matters
- Identify emerging threats and mitigations for AI and voice/chat systems
